Places is a social network that connects your places with your friends! Add your places and you will know when your friends are there! No maps, only places! Places is the new way to meet with your friends! How often do you ask someone “where are you”? Would you like to know if some friend is around? With Places, you can see who is in your favorite places. Do you have a bar or a cafe where you usually meet with your friends? Just open Places and check if they are there. Do you study at the school or university? Just open Places and check if your study buddies are there. Do you want to know which is the hot disco today? Just check it out with Places. But don’t worry, we don’t use maps nor real-time tracking! It is completely automatic and it guarantees your privacy.

Is everybody going to know where I am? Of course not! Our first priority is to protect your privacy. So you have total control of your privacy! You only appear in places you follow. And only to your friends! No maps! If you want to hide, you can turn your visibility off for each place or for all places (ghost mode) whenever you want!

See who’s nearby! If a friend is nearby at a place you follow, you can see that he/she is close to you!

What about that “secret spot” that you have with your closest friends? Or your friend’s home that you don’t want to share with all of your friends’ network? We thought about that too, and so we created Groups! A group works in the same way as a place, but only the group members will be able to see each other at that place!
